Position Overview
We are seeking an agile, data-driven, and fully independent Contract Talent Sourcer to partner with our Lead Recruiter on a B2B basis. In this role, you will act as the top-of-funnel engine, mapping markets and engaging passive talent across multiple high-priority verticals.
Our upcoming open requisitions span distinct profiles—ranging from highly technical Staff Software Engineers and UI/UX Designers to executive-level operational leaders (VP of Operations, Executive Assistant).
Mandatories & Infrastructure (Non-Negotiable)
- Corporate Structure: This is strictly a B2B engagement. You must operate through an active, registered Canadian corporation (Federal or Provincial). We will not contract with sole proprietors or individuals.
- Software Overhead: You must utilize your own active enterprise LinkedIn Recruiter (RPS or Corporate) seat. Recruiter Lite will not be sufficient for the depth of market mapping required. * Remittances: As an independent corporate entity, you are solely responsible for your own corporate taxes, GST/HST collections (if applicable), and business expenses.
Core Responsibilities
- Multi-Vertical Sourcing: Build robust pipelines of passive candidates for a variety of roles:
- Tech/Product: Staff Software Engineers, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers.
- Operations/Corporate: VP of Operations, Executive Assistant, and associated business roles.
- Market Mapping: Build target company lists, identify competitive talent pools within Canada/US, and craft tailored, high-converting cold outreach.
- Data Integration: Cleanly export and route warm, interested leads to the Lead Recruiter for screening.
Experience & Qualifications
- Location: Physically located in Canada to ensure timezone alignment.
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated technical/corporate sourcing experience. Agency background mixed with internal corporate/startup contracts is highly preferred.
- Autonomy: You are self-directed, operate your own business infrastructure, and manage your pipeline data meticulously without day-to-day hand-holding.
